We love that you are pleasantly surprised when you arrive at your escape, and relaxed and happy when you leave (albeit with the bittersweet sorrow of parting!)

We love adding properties to our collection that we know you will love too; holidays homes that expand the mind, that offer something a little different, that allow you (and us) to embrace our inner quirkiness.

We love details that delight – whether it’s the welcome hamper of local goodies, the hot tub in the garden or the sheep that come to the fence to say hello.

We love the UK. We love cricket on the green, oak trees and hedgehogs. We love cosy pubs and city museums that tell the story of our great nations. We love bluebells in spring and snow-capped mountains in winter. We even love the Great British weather (really, we do!)

When we set out on this adventure to create Quirky Stays, it was because we found it hard to pick out the holiday cottages we loved from thousands of listings on hundreds of websites.

Our holiday was our play time, the time for being together in a place that matched our mood, the time we laid down family stories and created magical memories. It had to be right, and yet we could never be sure whether or not we’d cracked it until we pulled up at the door. Sometimes is was perfect, other times…not so good.

Back then, choosing a holiday cottage was a game of chance and we wanted certainty. So we decided to create it ourselves. That’s what Quirky Stays is all about – it’s somewhere you can rely upon to deliver those lifelong happy memories.
