The heart of the UK is scattered with medieval towns and villages that seem almost completely untouched by time. The region seamlessly combines major cities - such as historic Cirencester and the majestic Oxford - with rural gems like the Forest of Dean.

Few landscapes on earth are as dramatic as Scotland: think eagles cruising through cloud-whipped skies, secluded lochs and atmospheric ruins atop dramatic hillsides. Marvel at Edinburgh's gothic architecture or lose yourself in the wilderness of the Highlands.

Welcome to Wales, where just a hop across the border from England feels like you've entered a new world entirely. This compact country boasts inspiring hills, formidable castles and moody coastlines of crumbling rock and golden sand.
Just outside there are 32 acres of countryside, gardens, and wild Roe deer with plenty of opportunity to ramble around the estate. The Walled Garden has an all-weather tennis court and carefully manicured lawns perfect for croquet and boules. Let us know in advance and we can organise all sorts of activities to keep you all busy: personal training, falconry, quad biking, cycling, barbecues and picnics.
This being Scotland, there are plenty of golf courses closeby. In fact, there are more than 80 golf courses within a 20 mile radius of Edinburgh! And, of course, there are the wonders of Edinburgh to explore (one of our favourite cities in the world). Edinburgh abounds with things to do outdoors all year round. Explore cobbled streets, and ancient alleys. Potter round the stylish boutiques and gift shops; head to the bustling streets of George and Princes Streets, or the Grassmarket and, of course, the famous Royal Mile. You can easily explore the architecture, history, shops, theatres and museums on foot and there are wonderful restaurants, pubs and cafes if you want a wee rest.
Whatever you choose to do, it’s always nice to relax at the end of it all, so we can organise a yoga session or a tailored massage specially for you. And we can arrange for professional make-up artists, manicurists and hairdressers to prepare you for that special occasion, whatever it may be.
And we know how to party too! If you want your evening to end with a bang rather than a whimper, we can lay it on in to the max! Just ask!
We’ve tried to think about everything to make your stay at My Own Castle just perfect. In all of our big houses to rent, we provide all the essential features to cater for a large group.
