Welcome to Wales, where just a hop across the border from England feels like you've entered a new world entirely. This compact country boasts inspiring hills, formidable castles and moody coastlines of crumbling rock and golden sand.
This is a great property for self-catering. There’s a main well-appointed kitchen with a range induction Smeg cooker, two dishwashers, a wine fridge and all the cutlery, crockery, glasses, pans and utensils you will ever need! Plus there’s an additional smaller kitchen. So if rustling up a gourmet meal is your thing, this is just the place. If you’d rather someone else did all the work, we work in partnership with some of the best local caterers who can offer locally sourced food or, if you’d rather find your own, that’s fine by us. The dining room can comfortably seat 30 people so there’s plenty of room for everyone, Of course, you are just a mile and a half away from the lovely village of Porlock, with its pubs, restaurants and teashops.
One of the wonderful things about the sleeping arrangements here is that there is a lot of flexibility to suit most parties. There are six bedrooms with king-sized beds, two rooms that are twin only and seven that can be used as twins or zipped together to make comfortable double beds. In all there are fourteen bathrooms (four en suite); one with disabled accessibility and seventeen loos. The other great thing is that the bedrooms are pure style, opulence and luxury – the house pulls off the magnificent trick of combining modern comfort with 1920’s elegance. Upstairs you will find the games room with a large flat-screen telly complete with PlayStation 4 and DVD – ideal for the kids.
